On Christmas Day, the season formally opens with 5 competitions to be competed. One of the most anticipated competitions contain the Dec 25 – Mavericks versus Heat game. For many reasons, the game is the most anticipated game. One is that it’s a rematch between the 2 squads that met in the Finals. The 2nd reason is so that the fans can see if the squads have the chance to win the tournament again especially with their lineup changes. The preseason events were cut short like the signing of free agents and trading but squads have made the most of the time that was allotted for them to get work accomplished.
If you like your Bowl games hot and ready, the Little Caesars Bowl begins at Ford Field in Detroit on December 26th with the Western Michigan Broncos competing with the Purdue Boilermakers. Back in 1998 when it was initially called the Motor City Bowl, former Michigan State football coach George Perles helped give birth to the Little Caesars Bowl. It is been a Michigan tradition since that time with excellent competitions each year and this year is no distinct. The sports book has the line fairly close with the Purdue Boilermakers at -2 ½ with the over/under at 60.
